ProStamm is an exceptional indexing program that organizes, manages, and presents digital documents and photographs in a unique genealogical manner. It not only generates family trees (structural records), it enables users to create personal presentations as well as presentations of family reunions, graduations, weddings, field trips, etc.
You must be at least 18 years old to register with ProStamm. Anyone under the age of 18 must be registered by a parent or guardian over the age of 18.
ProStamm is an internet ‘CLOUD’ driven program. There is nothing to install or periodically upgrade. And, you’ll never need to back-up your digital files such as photographs and family documents. ProStamm tracks every digital image - subject and content. Every family member and friend that is identified in a document and photograph is uniquely identified and indexed.
If ProStamm isn’t installed on my computer, how do I access all my information? You can, through our website or the ProStamm APP, access your personal and family information from anywhere in the world. All you need is a smart phone, notebook, or laptop – most any computing device (PC or MAC). Once you’re part of ProStamm, you won’t have to drag files around. You’ll be in control of all your information from ‘anywhere in the world’ – whether you’re in the library across the street or travelling the globe. This is especially useful at family reunions and gatherings, where new information and modifications can be instantly uploaded to your ProStamm File. You don’t have to wait until you get home to make changes to your files.
You don’t have to start all over. Merely export a GEDCOM file out of your current genealogy program and upload it into ProStamm. ProStamm will automatically assign a unique ID to every member in your family.
Everybody gets their own Unique ID. This is important because every family used the same name – over and over. Unique IDs make it easy to always know who you’re talking about.
Absolutely! Primary Record Owners can enable ProStamm to automatically invite designated friends and family members to join ProStamm and become a Family Circle Member. Not only will they be able to view their family information, they will also be able to suggest changes, add information, and upload documents and photographs.
YES and NO. Family Circle Members can upload changes and new information, but only the Primary Record Owner authorizes and allows permanent changes to the family record. It’s important to understand that ONLY one person can be in charge of the family record. If everybody is able to change the record, how would anyone know what is correct?
Oftentimes, after the passing of a family record steward, information is lost simply because no one knows how to retrieve information from the steward’s computer. Since ProStamm maintains point-of-contact information of designated stewards, if the family record steward passes on or is unable to continue as a steward, a designated person will be the new family record steward. The designated steward must be willing to assume the existing ProStamm responsibilities and financial obligations.
It’s easy to become part of the ProStamm family. All you need to do is sign up and register with ProStamm.
