Record Stories

ProStamm is the only genealogy program with a built-in audio recorder.

There are few things more precious than to be able to hear the voice of your loved ones; especially once they’ve passed on and all that’s left is their memory.

As long as you have a microphone attached to your Laptop or computer, you can record everyone's stories.

If you don’t have a microphone, you can purchase them off the internet or from most electronic stores that sell computers.

Each recording creates an MP3 file which you can save to your computer’s hard drive.

The microphone, shown on the right, is from FIFINE Technology. It was purchased from (in 2018) for $21.99. It has a USB so you can just plug-and-play. But, there are plenty of microphones available for less than $10.
